Travel update

Underground services:

Following the earlier security alerts, there is currently no service on the Piccadilly or Bakerloo lines due to staff action; train operators are at present refusing to work in what amounts to wildcat strike action.

The Heathrow Express is currently accepting valid LU tickets and travelcards for services between Heathrow Airport and Paddington.

The Hammersmith and City Line is closed and parts of the Northern, Metropolitan and Victoria Lines are closed. The Northern line operating between Morden to Stockwell, Kennington to Edgware via Bank and Morning Crescent to High Barnet and Mill Hill East only. The Victoria line is currently operating between Walthamstow to Highbury & Islington and between Victoria to Brixton.

The Oval, Warren Street and Shepherd's Bush (Hammersmith and City Line) Tube stations remain closed after being evacuated shortly before 1230 BST.

Green Park Tube station is also shut.

Mainline rail services:

Midland Mainline trains are not running into or out of King's Cross St Pancras station. Moorgate mainline station is closed and Thameslink trains are not stopping at St Albans.

Bus services:

Buses are operating as normal through the City.

Sorry to be a pedant, but that should read:

"Midland Mainline trains are not running into or out of St Pancras station."

Midland Mainline don't go into Kings Cross.
At about 18:20 there was an incident at Woodfordst causing the central line to not run between leyton and epping, which has now reopened.
Although buses are nominally running as normal, most of tottenham Court Road was still closed at 10.30 tonight (also, I believe, euston road between great portland street and Euston station). all buses that usually head north up TCR are being diverted down new oxford street, through tavistock square and are picking up their routes from euston road (the 29 is running up eversholt street rather than hampstead road)

worth noting that it took an hour for my 29 to get from leicester square to mornington crescent - it usually takes 20 minutes at most. I have no idea whether this'll still be the case tomorrow, but for tonight at least any buses running past warren street are utterly shagged
